Welcome John Paul

Momma and John Paul

Momma and John Paul

Our fifth child is here!  John Paul Theodore entered the world at 9:09 PM weighing in at 8.5 pounds and 21 inches in Atlanta, Georgia.  Mom and baby are doing fine.  Brothers and sisters are excited and unable to get to sleep.  He is, for a few weeks, the newest addition to the Regina Caeli nursery!

A special thank you to all those who have prayed with us on the journey thus far…we could never make it this far without your support and intercession with the Lord.

More later…but for now we are all smoked!  We have a date in the nursery floor in about an hour…so I need to pack up the gear and get ready for our first move.

P.S.  We will never forget our babies already in heaven from miscarriages.  We love all of you: Alpha, Bravo, Charlie and Delta.  Thanks for guarding your brother these last few months.

  1. That’s such wonderful news! I love seeing big Catholic families living out their Catholic faith. We used to live in Smyrna, GA. For Sunday Mass, we used to go to Christ the King Cathedral, and for weekday Mass the kids and I would go to St. Frances de Sales Catholic Church in Mableton, GA (Traditional Latin Mass). We miss being in Atlanta. May God continue to bless your growing family!

    • Thank you Charina! My wife and I like to say the more we know of the faith, the more we love the Lord, and then the more we can live out the faith. While we slowly learned on our own for eleven years, the jumpstart came when we started homeschooling five years ago. We learned so much teaching our children, we found ourselves invigorated to grow personally. Last year we joined Regina Caeli Academy in Roswell, Georgia for hybrid schooling, and it also became our small faith support group. Lots of fellow folks trying to prepare the way of the Lord in the hearts of the parents and children! If you are in Atlanta again let us know! We’d enjoy introducing you around the school. God Bless your family!
